Inglês Médico para Resfriados, Febre e Tosse: Atendimento Primário e Urgente

Se você tiver grande dificuldade para respirar, dor no peito, confusão, febre alta persistente em uma criança pequena, lábios azulados ou qualquer outro sintoma urgente, ligue imediatamente para o número de emergência local (911 nos EUA/Canadá, 192 no Brasil, 112 em Portugal/UE) ou vá ao pronto-socorro mais próximo.
Para um resfriado comum, febre ou tosse leve nos EUA, você geralmente irá a uma primary care clinic (seu médico de família ou clínico geral) ou a um urgent care (atendimento sem agendamento, no mesmo dia, para casos que não chegam a ser emergência). Os atendimentos primários geralmente exigem agendamento prévio, enquanto o urgent care permite a entrada no mesmo dia. Seja qual for sua escolha, a recepcionista, o(a) enfermeiro(a) e o(a) profissional farão perguntas muito semelhantes para entender o que está acontecendo. Se você conseguir descrever seus sintomas em uma ou duas frases claras, a consulta inteira fica muito mais rápida.
