「The living room is bright in the morning.」(客廳朝早好光。)
「This kitchen is well lit, even without direct sunlight.」(呢個廚房就算冇直射陽光都好光猛。)
「The hallway is too dim to see the steps clearly.」(走廊太暗,睇唔清楚啲級。)
「The lamp gives soft lighting, so the room feels calm.」(盞燈發出柔和嘅光,所以個房感覺平靜。)
「There is a lot of glare on my screen.」(我個屏幕好多反光。)
「Could we close the blinds to reduce the glare?」(可唔可以拉埋百葉簾,減少啲刺眼光?)
「The balcony gets shade in the afternoon.」(露台下晝有遮蔭。)
「This corner is shaded, so it stays cooler.」(呢個角落有遮蔭,所以冇咁熱。)
「The meeting room feels stuffy after an hour.」(會議室一個鐘之後就開始焗。)
「The room is well ventilated when both windows are open.」(兩個窗都開嗰陣,個房就好通風。)
「The room gets natural light from a large window.」(個房有自然光由一個大窗入嚟。)
「The desk is bright because it sits next to the window.」(書枱好光,因為佢就喺窗側邊。)
「The overhead light is too harsh.」(頭頂盞燈太刺眼。)
「The corner is dim because the lamp does not reach it.」(個角落昏暗,因為燈光照唔到嗰度。)
「The natural light makes the room feel open.」(自然光令個房感覺開揚。)
「The dim hallway feels a little gloomy.」(昏暗嘅走廊感覺有少少陰沉。)
「The glare from the window makes it hard to use the computer.」(窗嘅刺眼光令人好難用電腦。)
「Let's sit in the shade.」(我哋坐喺陰涼處啦。)
「The tree gives the patio some afternoon shade.」(棵樹喺下晝畀露台一啲遮蔭。)
「The room stays cooler because the windows are shaded.」(個房冇咁熱,因為啲窗有遮擋。)
「There is glare on the TV.」(電視機有反光。)
「The sun creates strong glare on the table.」(太陽喺枱面造成強烈嘅刺眼光。)
「The blinds help block the glare.」(百葉簾幫到手擋住刺眼光。)
「It feels stuffy in here. Could we open a window?」(呢度感覺好焗。
「The air feels stale because the room has been closed all day.」(空氣感覺唔新鮮,因為個房成日都閂住。)
「There is not much airflow in this bedroom.」(呢間睡房唔多空氣流通。)
「The bathroom needs better ventilation after a shower.」(沖完涼之後,廁所需要更好嘅通風。)
「This kitchen is well ventilated because it has a window and a strong fan.」(呢個廚房好通風,因為佢有一個窗同埋一把夠力嘅風扇。)
唔好用「the room has much light」做你嘅主要句子。要講「the room is bright」(個房好光)或者「the room gets a lot of natural light」(個房有好多自然光)。
唔好對住每個弱光情況都講「the light is weak」。要講「the room is dim」(個房昏暗)或者「the lighting is soft」(燈光柔和)。
唔好講「the air is closed」。要講「the room feels stuffy」(個房感覺焗促)或者「the air feels stale」(空氣感覺唔新鮮)。
除非真係完全冇任何途徑令空氣流動,否則唔好講「the room has no ventilation」。
唔好講「the sun attacks my eyes」。要講「there is strong glare」(有強烈刺眼光)或者「the glare hurts my eyes」(刺眼光弄痛我對眼)。
「This apartment gets a lot of natural light in the morning, so the living room feels bright and open. The desk area is comfortable most of the day, but there is strong glare on the computer screen around noon. The bedroom is dimmer because it faces a shaded courtyard. The air can feel stuffy at night, but it becomes well ventilated when both windows are open and the fan is on.」(呢個單位朝早有好多自然光,所以客廳感覺明亮開揚。
例子:「My kitchen is bright in the morning because it has a large east-facing window. The table gets direct sunlight, so there is sometimes glare. In the afternoon, the room is shaded and cooler. The air feels fresh when the window is open.」(我個廚房朝早好光,因為佢有一個朝東嘅大窗。
