你唔使淨係講「I don't understand」(我唔明),而係可以講某樣嘢 unclear、confusing、vague、mixed up、misunderstood,或者 needs clarification。

Confused

要講 I am confused。形容嗰樣嘢就用 confusing:「The instructions are confusing.」

唔好講「Please explain me」。要講 Please explain it to meCould you explain that?,或者 Could you explain what you mean?

「I understand the bus was late」意思係你知道呢項資訊;「I realized the bus was late」意思係你察覺到佢。

唔好講「Can you repeat again?」。要講 Can you repeat that? 或者 Could you say that again?

「You explained it badly」聽落可以好無禮。可以試下講「I am still not sure I understand」或者「Could you clarify one detail?」

例如:「I just want to make sure I understood correctly. Are we meeting at 3 p.m. at the front desk?」
