रेस्तराँ की सेवा वाली अंग्रेज़ी आपको साफ़ तरीके से ऑर्डर देने, छोटे-छोटे बदलाव माँगने और बहुत सीधा सुने बिना भोजन निपटाने में मदद करती है। कई बार खाने का नाम बता देना ही काफ़ी नहीं होता। आपको portions के बारे में पूछना, refill माँगना, कोई side dish चुनना, check बाँटना, या किसी reservation की पुष्टि करनी पड़ सकती है।
ये शब्द काम के हैं क्योंकि ये खाने को सेवा से जोड़ते हैं। मेन्यू में शायद "grilled salmon" लिखा हो, पर उसके आस-पास की बातचीत में ये शामिल होते हैं: "Does it come with a side?" "Could I get a refill?" मुख्य अंतर
