Inglés para pruebas médicas: analítica, análisis de orina, radiografía, ecografía, resonancia

Después de que el médico diga "Let's order some tests", el resto de la consulta suele desarrollarse así: llevas una orden a un laboratorio, centro de imagen o farmacia; la recepción te pregunta qué prueba es, si estás en ayunas y si tienes implantes metálicos. Cada prueba tiene un breve guion en inglés, pero una sola palabra (contrast, fast, claustrophobic) puede desconcertarte. Memoriza unas pocas frases para cada una de las cinco categorías habituales —sangre, orina, radiografía, ecografía, TAC, resonancia— y todo el proceso de pruebas se hace mucho más fácil.

Análisis de sangre
