تختلف زيارات الأمراض المزمنة عن الزيارات الحادة. لا يحاول الطبيب الوصول إلى تشخيص جديد — بل يريد أن يعرف مدى استقرارك، وكيف تسير معك الأدوية، وما إذا ظهر شيء جديد. لزيارة المتابعة ثلاث خانات ثابتة: الأرقام الأخيرة، والأعراض / جودة الحياة، والالتزام بالأدوية. غطِّ هذه الثلاث بالإضافة إلى أسئلتك، ويمكن لمتابعة ربع سنوية أن تنتهي في خمس عشرة دقيقة.
