الفروق الرئيسية

Drafty تعني أن هواءً باردًا يدخل إلى الغرفة عبر فتحة، عادةً حول نافذة أو باب أو جدار أو أرضية. قد تبدو الغرفة التي يتسرّب إليها الهواء باردة حتى عندما تكون التدفئة مشغّلة.

وصف الخطورة

لا تقل "the wall is wet" إذا كان رطبًا قليلًا فقط. قل "the wall is damp".

لا تقل "the faucet is broken" إذا كانت المشكلة الأساسية هي تسرّب الماء. قل "the faucet is leaking" أو "the faucet is leaky".

لا تقل "the sink is stuck" لمصرف مسدود. قل "the sink is clogged" أو "the drain is clogged".

لا تقل "mold smell" كعبارة كاملة. قل "a moldy smell" أو "a musty smell".

لا تقل "the neighbor is noise". قل "the neighbor is noisy" أو "there is a lot of noise from next door".
